This has been one of our busiest years so far. With a new baby and adjusting to life as a family of eight, Nathaniel in hockey and the girls in Voices of the Permian Basin, an awesome homeschool co-op once a week, and of course there's our actual school work too--plus Justin was gone at least two weeks for three separate business trips-- I feel like we're always in and out and on the run. I've worked hard this year at being a little more schedule oriented and preparing for things ahead of time; no easy task on those nights Juliette wants to party till 2 AM, and making me want to sleep until 10 AM. (I'm incredibly thankful for kids who sleep in and a husband who will pick up my slack when I need it!) So anyway, all that to say, here's some of what we did this October. The girls found "dinosaur fossils" in the backyard, we cheered Nathaniel on in his first hockey game, we did lots of school in our jammies and went on a walk to hunt for leaves for biology class. We missed Daddy tons while he was out of town, we made great friends at co-op, and Justin got to play doctor again by taking Juliette's stitches out (from the biopsy on her birth mark). And we ate a lot of Chick-fil-a.

You the man/dad 😇
